Booking and Payment
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been registered via credit card or PayPal.
The agreement and payments for the retreat are between you and the organizer (Light On Conspiracies/Sama Sama Light).
Cancellations
- More than 60 days before the start date: 90 % refund
- 30–59 days before the start date: 50 % refund
- 0–29 days before the start date: no refund
If you fall ill and can provide a valid medical certificate, your full payment may be transferred to a future retreat (within 12 months).
You may also transfer your place to another participant (€50 administration fee).
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original booking.
Cancellation by Organizer
If we have to cancel the retreat – for example due to illness, too few participants, or circumstances beyond our control – you choose what happens next:
- Transfer your booking to a future retreat within 12 months, or
- A full refund of everything you have paid us.
The choice is yours, and it does not depend on how close to the start date we cancel. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days.
What we cannot refund are costs you have paid to third parties – flights, visas, travel insurance – because that money never reached us.
Force Majeure
Natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions and similar events beyond our control are treated exactly as an organizer cancellation above: transfer to a future retreat, or a full refund of what you have paid us – your choice.
Responsibility and Insurance
Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.
Privacy Policy (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
We respect your privacy and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), as well as equivalent international data-protection laws.
When you book or fill out a form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and payment information solely to manage your booking and deliver the agreed services.
Use of Personal Data
Your personal data may be used for:
- administration of your booking, payment, and communication
- practical planning of the retreat (e.g., accommodation, meals, arrival coordination)
- newsletters or event updates (only with your explicit consent)
To carry out the retreat, relevant details are securely shared with the organizer Light On Conspiracies/Sama Sama Light for practical coordination only.
We do not share your information with third parties except for trusted payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) as required to complete your transaction.
You may request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by contacting join@dammeguardians.com.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you
- request correction or deletion of your data
- opt out of promotional communications
- request that your data not be sold or shared with third parties
To exercise your rights or request data deletion, email join@dammeguardians.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
Cookies
Cookies are used only to improve website performance and analyze anonymous usage statistics (e.g., via Google Analytics).
You may disable cookies at any time through your browser settings.
